Exmoor Rotary: Youth Speaks
This competition is based on a public meeting. It offers young people:
-
experience in speaking on a public platform
-
incentive to formulate ideas on specific subjects
-
discipline in dealing with a topic in a limited time
-
opportunity to learn from others high standards of expression, presentation, and appearance
-
experience in accepting impartial assessment and constructive criticism.
The local competition normally takes place in January each year, the Area competition in February, and the District one in March.
