Exmoor Rotary Challenge
This is an annual competition between two Rotary Districts, 1175 and 1200. Two routes are provided.
The Rotary Exmoor Challenge is also a gentle competition between Rotary Districts 1175 and 1200 for the Rotary Challenge Shield. Rotarians and their families and friends from each district earn two points for completing the Standard Challenge or three points for completing Greater Challenge. The Governor of the district with the most points formally receives the Shield at a club meeting. However, non-Rotarians are very welcome to join in the walk (pre-booking essential) to increase sponsorship money for Children's Hospice South West and Ene Polio Now. Please GIFT AID the sponsorship and donations if you are a UK tax-payer.
2025 Challenge is Sunday 6th April based from Oakford Village Hall EX16 9ER
We hope that Club members from the South West will rally again and take the opportunity to get out and about for a good cause. We will again be using Oakford Village Hall (Rookery Hill, Oakford, Tiverton EX16 9ER) as our base with two different walks around the area, one 4.5miles, the other 8 miles.
